Abstract
Migration processes and the significant increase in the number of refugees around the world bring great importance to the subject in the academic environment. This article aims to analyze the main actions taken by the Brazilian government during the pandemic regarding the health of Venezuelan refugees. Thus, the standardization of refuge in the national legal system is initially presented, addressing the Brazilian legislation pertinent to the subject and finally, we reflect on the measures adopted regarding the health of Venezuelan refugees in Brazil during the COVID-19 pandemic. For this study, a bibliographic review of articles and news related to the subject was carried out, involving qualitative analyses of the chosen texts. In view of this review, the main question suggested in the work emerged, providing readers with a tangible reference for inquiries on the subject.
