Abstract

The judicialization of health is a topic whose discussions involve the most diverse public agents, institutions and society in general. It is unquestionable that the right to health is of a universal nature, and of the obligation of the State, however its effective applicability encounters obstacles, such as the ingestion of the SUS's own management, restricted purchasing rules, the absence of compromise strategies for effective health, among other factors, which has caused the interference in the management, disregarding available financial resources and public policies already implemented. In spite of these aspects, there is a movement to promote greater integration among the Institutions, through the activities developed in Health Councils, Health Conferences, Forums, Workshops and in the State Health Committees, taking into account the need to develop the training of the agents involved in the lawsuits. In addition to having been promoted a public hearing on health juridicialization, convened in 2009 by the Federal Supreme Court, and the publication by the National Council of Justice, referring to research carried out on the judicialization of health in Brazil. The study itself is involved in the view of the roles, limits and challenges of the Judiciary, whose actions with the other Powers have been bringing considerable achievements to the population and the agents involved. This work also aims to demonstrate some quantitative data, referring to the year 2018, on health actions in the face of the municipality of Goiânia, as well as its developments.
