Comprehensive Healthcare the challenge of comorbidities and multiple entry points

Abstract
the objective of this exploratory work was to demonstrate the importance of the SUS user approach in Primary Health Care, from the principle of integrality, considering comorbidities, according to age groups and social vulnerabilities, with a view to preventing diseases and risk reduction, treatment that meets all your needs, for an efficient rehabilitation, with higher quality and life expectancy. The methodology used was that of bibliographic research, based on the publication of articles in scientific journals on public health and data on official websites. The comorbidities of users in the SUS, including those referring to preventable deaths, point to the need for permanent and updated training of health professionals to identify these comorbidities, aiming at the correct referral of the users to the specialists. It was concluded that there is a need to study, investigate and know the comorbidities, weaknesses and vulnerabilities of users of the SUS, according to the age groups, is fundamental, as the health professionals who work in Primary Health Care, the any gateway to the System, they need to be qualified for interventions aimed at prevention, accurate diagnosis, timely and adequate referral for an effective and efficient treatment, at the level of care required for each case, in order to reduce hospitalizations, length of stay in hospitals, readmissions, avoiding preventable deaths and preventable diseases, and enabling the recovery and rehabilitation of users.
